Due to its density, some of Takaokaya's products (such as the Futon, Zabuton Cushion, or the Ojami Cushion) are very difficult to dry completely after soaked, so please refrain from washing them at home.
If the product is lightly spoiled, please use a damp cloth to wipe the spot immediately. Refrain from vigorous rubbing as it might cause discoloration on the fabric.
If thorough cleaning seems to be needed, consult with your local cleaning service.
Products that came with a polyethylene pipe filling: please handwash, drain well, and dry completely in the shade. Avoid using a dryer as it might damage the product.
All covers and pillows or inner liners with polyethylene pipe(soft / hard) filling can be washed.
Please wash the products according to the icon instruction provided on each tag.

Products with 100% Cotton or blended filling (70% Cotton, 30% Polyester) filling can NOT be washed. For product care, please refer to the following instructions.
Store in a well-ventilated place.
Air out the product under the sun once a week on both sides, for about 2 hours.
When placed under the sun, it is recommended to cover the product with a sheet during this process. The sheet will help preserve the color of the fabric and prevent unwanted discoloration.
Please abstain from beating futons, as it might cause the cotton fiber to tear, producing chips and dust.
Remove present dust with a vacuum cleaner, on the lowest setting. Please refrain from the use of a lint roller.

To apply, please use the available form page in our online store. Please select your desired repair option from our available services. After sending your application, our staff will get in contact with you via email to inform you of Takaokaya's address. Please send your item to us at Takaokaya. The available payment method that's available is Cash On Delivery (COD), credit card, bank transfer, and convenience store payments.
After receiving an email from Takaokaya, please send off the product you would like to repair. Please note that the customer is responsible for the shipped product shipping cost.
It will approximately be a 12 business days (2 to 3 weeks) process from finishing to shipping, after the product's arrival at Takaokaya.
